The #KudosKookies movement was born during a conversation with Dan Gridley one morning.  I had extra bags of chocolate chips and was planning on baking cookies weekly until I ran out of chips.  He suggested I go beyond just giving out cookies and give them a reason.  I then thought, I should include hand-written notes and #KudosKookies was born.

It has been a transformational movement for me because I am now looking at teachers and students with new eyes. I am intentionally looking for the positive so I see it everywhere. The best part – other teachers are doing it for their kids.
